nice quote

I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. 'Tis the business of little minds to shrink, but he whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death.

The Weekend - Episode 4

This story surely bores you, isn't it?
Okay, I admit that my writing skills has faded away, so I need to polish them up. Since I have quite a number of things that I want to write about, I need to finish writing this totally boring not-very-interesting story so that I can write those other things before they expire (issues sometimes also have their "best before" right).

Therefore, here it comes, the last episode which was made short and simple.

*From previous episode*

I passed some money to Shida and asked her to give them to her. But seeing that so many people were there and many were looking at the woman, we felt quite shy to suddenly stand and give the woman money. Guilty filled my self. I discussed the matter with Shida and decided to give her the money if we meet her in any other place with lesser people. We ate our food, paid our bill and went to the shop. As we walked, I said to Shida that maybe later we'll give her the money if we find her. I felt terribly ashamed of myself. ;-(

Then we walked ourselves across the main road that connects Parit Buntar and Taiping, entered a shop we call "Pinky Shop" and bought a purse for myself, three brooches and several other things. It was almost 8 pm and we walked towards the "Gerbang Malam" which consists of many stalls selling things like t-shirts, accessories, toys, shoes, scarfs, food and many more. The Gerbang Malam is located in front of Bank Islam in the Bagan Serai town. They are open from 8 pm to 2 am if I'm not mistaken.

Since both of us couldn't perform our solat (we were having our "holidays" for solat), so we were able to spend more time in the Gerbang Malam. I bought a nice black tudung for myself.

My mom called and asked me where we were. I told her that we're walking around the Gerbang Malam and would be back home some time later. After that, we walked some more and entered a Pasarayaku shop located in front of the bus station. I can't remember at all whether I bought anything or not from there. After spending quite a time there, we decided to go back but it was dark and it was surely not a good idea for the two of us to walk through the dark road.

So we dropped by a food stall and ordered some drinks. Our motive? I called my 14-year-old younger brother, Fauzi who was at home and asked whether he had had his dinner. I invited him to join us at the food stall. The real motive was to make him accompany us walking home safely. Thus, he came and ate his food and we left for home. One thing for sure, we didn't encounter any chance to meet the middle-aged lady again that night. :-(

I thought I was going to sleep early that night, but even though I walked a lot throughout the day, I could still spend the midnight watching a Chinese movie at TV2. I slept at 2 am.

I departed to the college at about 1 pm and reached the hostel around 3 hours later. I went by buses and ferry, of course. I only rested myself for an hour, and then I left for Queensbay to repair the camera that belongs to my brother.

Conflicts shot me from all direction - I had to attend a meeting with Kelab Pengucapan Awam (KPA) members that night, and I had to repair the camera for School Experience (SE) the next day, and the bus only arrive one hour later. I went to Queensbay, walking so fast like a crazy person
to find any camera shops. As I found one shop, the worker said that the camera can be repaired (fuhh) but the cost would be about RM 300 (what??). I could buy a new one with such a mount of money. So I decided not to repair it, and went out to go back to the college. My heart was broken into pieces, but I took it positively.

Unfortunately, there were not a single bus that transits at my college. It's good that I met Farihin a.k.a. E'in who was waiting for her friend to pick her up. But she was unfortunate too, her mobile phone was out of battery and her friend hadn't turn up. I lend her my phone and she managed to contact her friend. Only after about one hour of waiting her friend turned up. They were actually planning to go to PISA for the PC Fair, but considering that it was Maghrib already, E'in's friend decided to send us back to the college and go to PISA after Maghrib. Guess what? E'in's friend was Kamil, my senior in MJSC Balik Pulau. What a coincidence!

So we went back safely. I was in a rush to get myself ready for the KPA meeting when suddenly Wahidah, another member of KPA texted me to tell that the meeting was cancelled.

How frustrating the weekend was! (Yet very meaningful, isn't it?)

The end.
