Hi readers!
Finally I'm here, typing this post after a super long stop. It's hard for me to believe that I only wrote one post for July. Whatever, it had happened anyway. It's hard to get even a minute to write a post.
You know, new semester = assignments, discussions, presentations, School Experience, PC Fair-ions, Facebook-ions. But I'm not going to write about all those anion and cations, instead I prefer to tell you about my long, "lonely", yet wonderful weekend I had recently.
So, here it is.
On one fine Friday morning, I entered the room number 2.2 for tutorial class in Muhibah block with an open heart. Even though I did not have my breakfast that morning, it was okay since it felt so good to be in the room again, after 19 hours not entering the class.
Okay, I cut it short. We had an English Language Teaching Methodology (ELTM) tutorial class and later had to attend an extra Pedagogy mass lecture with Madam SH (not real name) for that day. To interrupt, I want to tell you that the day before was my older sister's birthday, and I tried to call her for millions of times, unfortunately she answered none of my calls, nor my text message. I was anxious, (angry!), curious, worried, but I did nothing to check about it. I wanted to text my younger sister to ask her about the matter, but I had lost her numbers. And I was too shy (or was it because of ego?) to ask my brothers (hey! you have 5 brothers but you asked none of them?). I just acted cool. B-|
Continue with the story, right after the class, I ate my breakfast with Kak Dayah, Fatin Hanani, Lah and Sazrah in Recsam. We later went to PISA for PC Fair. I was planning to buy a camera. I need one for my School Experience the next week (this week), but my mom strongly advised me not to buy any because she believes that I'll only waste my money. So after discussing with her on the phone, we agreed that I'll buy a memory card to be used with an old digital camera that belongs to my mom. And the camera was in my house in Bagan Serai, Perak. And I need it before I step into the school the Monday morning.
The buying processes went on for a few hours, and I came back to the hostel at 4.15 pm. I didn't plan to spend my night in the bus station, so I decided to wait until the next day.
On the Saturday afternoon, the real journey started. I stepped out of my hostel at 12 and walked all way to the bus stop in front of the RECSAM building. I took a Rapid Penang that was heading to the jetty. As soon as I arrive, I bought some "jeruk buah salak" and rushed myself to the waiting area for ferry. Lucky me, the ferry was still there. I spent about 15 minutes in the ferry, observing people walk, talk, laugh, run, make facial expressions, buy buns, sea-watch, and do nothing. It's interesting though. The ferry almost reached the ferry platform, and I walked fast to the front of the gate, standing there and trying to balance myself as the ferry shook for a few times. It's my routine actually. Since I was standing right in front of the gate, I managed to go out quickly and became one of the "winners". I hurried myself to the pathway heading to the bus terminal.
I strode to the ticket counter and bought myself a bus ticket from Butterworth to Parit Buntar which cost me RM 3.90. I got into the bus, and as I wait for the bus to move, I texted my mom that I'm going home that very afternoon. The journey continued but I wasn't able to sleep as usual. It took one hour for the bus to arrive Parit Buntar. I got off the bus at the bus station, but not more the one minute later, I got into another bus, but this one was heading to Taiping and would transit at Bagan Serai. I rested myself in the "roller-coaster" for about 15 minutes, and then happily got off in Bagan Serai. I was expecting my dad to come over and pick me, because usually he does. I did send a message to him, saying that I had arrived at Bagan Serai. As I wait, I went to a shop nearby and bought some rice crackers and biscuits, while looking out of the shop hoping that I'd see a glance of my dad's car. But I saw none, and decided to walk home. It took me almost 10 minutes to arrive my house gate. I noticed that one of the car (Naza Forza) was there in front of my house, but the other car (Proton Waja) was not there. Many thoughts were naughtily playing in my mind.
The gate was not locked, so I walked pass it to the sliding door. It was locked, and I doubted it if there were anybody in the house. I checked the front door, and as I expected, it was locked too. Hey, where's everyone? Were they somewhere around the bus station, searching for me who had walked home? I was quite panic but trying to be cool, I checked the window. It was not locked! And lucky me, I could pull open the window, thus twisting the door knob of the front door. The door was opened, and I slowly entered the house, as if I was an intruder. The ceiling fans were not moving at all. But noticing that the TV was on, I thought that maybe one of my siblings was in the house. I called for my sisters' name. Who knows maybe they're upstairs. I ran to the kitchen to check any sign of people inside the house. Finding nobody there, I ran upstairs to check all the rooms. All were empty; nobody's on the house! I was in total shock, but calmed myself down by going downstairs and switched on the fan. I sat nervously, sank into a deep thinking. As I were wondering where on earth did all my family members go, suddenly my phone rang. I picked it up and answered it. It was my dad. He asked, "Where are you right now?" I said, "I'm home already. I walked myself home. Where are you dad?"
Do you know the answer? What do you think did my dad say?
Zaaaasss... Will be continued. XD
